Tavistock is a historic market town on the western edge of Dartmoor National Park with some wonderful hotels. The town is the birthplace of Sir Frances Drake and is located close to the Devon/Cornwall border.

Buckfastleigh is a small market town on the southern edge of Dartmoor and is a centre for many attractions and activities in the area. There is a good choice of hotels in Buckfastleigh and nearby the town due to its ideal location, beautiful surrounding countryside and things to see and do.
