Combe Martin at the western edge of Exmoor is sheltered in a fertile valley famous for its straggling main street, which follows the combe down to the seafront for about a mile.

The rather unusual Pack o' Cards Inn is here which was supposed to have been built by a gambler in the 18th century with his winnings from a card game, it has four storey's originally had 52 windows and decreases in size as it goes up.
Combe Martin has a sandy beach with rock pools and coves on either side.

East of Combe Martin are the Hangman Hills a spectacular part of both the South West Coastal Path and Tarka Trail which takes you up to the highest point of the South West Coastal Path at Great Hangman a gorse covered headland some 318m high with incredible views.
The Combe Martin Museum holds a collection of local historic events relating to silver mining, lime quarrying, agriculture and maritime history.
