This beautiful Medieval Farmhouse (1520, Henry the 8th's era), still retains many of its original features; oak panelling & beams, fireplaces with bread ovens, uneven floors & low doorways! Yet, offers many of the comforts of modern day life including quality, en-suite bedrooms with free wi-fi internet access. (Five rooms have en-suite facilities and one has a lovely private bathroom)

Delicious, home-cooked breakfasts, freshly prepared from farm and local produce, include home-made bread and jams. After breakfast plan your day with Jackie's wealth of knowledge of the area or using the extensive information room, with maps to borrow, at Huxtable Farm; Walk or cycle parts of the Tarka Trail (passing the farms entrance), Exmoor National Park or the beautiful South West Coast Path. Discover the historic harbours of Clovelly, Lynton & Lynmouth, National Trust property - Arlington Court or visit the wonderful gardens RHS Rosemoor and Marwood Hill.
Sept - June (booked by arrangement) enjoy a memorable home cooked candle-lit dinners of farm grown & local produce served with a complimentary glass of home-made wine. You are also welcome to bring your own wine too! Meals are made from food found around the farm reacting to the changing seasons: 'sloes, elderberries, crab apples, hazelnuts & wild mushrooms in autumn, elderflowers, nettles and wild strawberries in the first days of summer. The large fruit garden provides the fruit for the jams at breakfast and basis of many of the home-made puddings.
